Northern Golan Heights:

Beautiful places with fascinating stories: a spring surrounded by minefields, abandoned Syrian headquarters from the 60's, and a volcano.

The weather is cool and nice even in the summer when the rest of the country is hot.

Tzfat:

The Ancient city of Tzfat, the ancient Citadel, Messiah Alley, the historical Haari synagogue and Yosef Caro synagogue, the story on Tzfat in the 1948 independence war and the Armenian Quarter.

Beit She'an Valley:

Overlook from Mount Gilboa on the places where the fascinating biblical stories of Gideon, Deborah, King Saul and King Ahab took place, a walk in a deep and refreshing stream to the tubes attraction, and a zoo full of Australian animals.

Upper Jordan River:

A crusader fortress, a rushing river and refreshing clear springs gushing from the black basalt stone.

Nahal Kziv stream:

A stream flowing inside a Canoyon, a forest and a German Crusader fortress from the medival era.

Nahal Kziv and Monfort Castle.

Trip type: Full-day Non-circular walk. Has hard walks, meant for trekkers​*.

 

Streams in the Golan Heights:

Waterfalls, pools surrounded by green vegetation, black cliffs, yellow weed and blue sky.

upper/lower Zavitan stream, Gilabon stream or El Al stream.

Trip type: Full-day walk. Has hard walks, meant for trekkers​*. The Zavitan requires entrance fee.

*moderate walk trips and city tours are 3-7km.

"Meant for trekkers" walks are 7km or more, meant for healthy and fit people who can climb and jump.
